    1. Just so you know, the text that shows up at 6:38 has a “>” instead of a “<". It should be the other way around.

      1. The previous sentence was about a caloric deficit. How does that relate to the food you take in being less than the work you put in the gym??? Caloric deficit, therefore food intake is much more important given how easy it is to eat than to use up calories via exercise.

    2. Btw when I said “Iv been working out for over 2 years to be where I am” that’s over 2 years after Iv lost the weight. Just wanted to clarify that. It’s been just over 3 years since I started my weight loss ^_^

        I’ve been on and off at the gym for around 3 years (mostly off though..), and i was never able to really continue..I kept stopping. Anyways, I guess I needed to see someone’s story that was relatable to mine, and I searched and saw this video and I was instantly hooked to your channel.
        I really love your advice, your stories and how you were able to achieve what a lot of people have been trying to achieve. And you showed that it’s possible (not easy, but definitely possible and simple) and for many of us, maybe we need to hear a story from here on earth, of someone who was overweight and took the hard, real route to better health and better fitness. I salute you man, thank you for being real and for motivating.

    3. i know this sounds outlandish but i kind of feel like ive wasted my health because im overweight, like i feel that nows theres going to be consequences in the future e.g. when im 50 etc, im 20 nos. is it too late to save my health for the future.. please just answer plz. i need to get this off my chest… thanks

      1. I’m 50 now, just starting on my journey to fitness. Start now, when you are young. i wish I had the chance to do it over – but I don’t. Take it from someone who is on ‘the other side’…fitness is not just the gym, but a lifestyle change. The sooner you start, the better.

      1. +CBP D I don’t take supplements. I’ll occasionally use a pre workout, or a scoop of protein powder. However besides those nothing. Supplements will not make you lose weight, focus on diet and workouts above all else.

      1. Im going to be completely honest with you.

        I have cut pop, cookies, cakes.. and other sweets..
        I have reduced my carb intake
        Im eating more fruits and veggies
        I havent been working out yet

      1. I was surprised by how … nice my gym actually is… Everyone was so helpful when I was a 100% lost, even the totally buff guys. The people there are the complete opposite from what I feared they’d be. It might just be the begining of a love story between me and the gym x).

    11. Lol Husband and I just signed up today. Same thing we got our clothes on and went back in. We did the cycles today and it was empty in there so we tested out all the weight training equipment. Tonight I was looking up beginner weight lifting and found your video Complete Beginners Guide. One of the first things you said was to watch this video about starting so I am here, then I will watch that one. Thank you for making that fire in me a bit stronger today.
